National Wedding Show – NEC – 13th - 15th March – Stand B43

It’s National Wedding show time again !! It’s very hectic and can be quite stressful, but is so worthwhile. If you have never visited the show before – then be prepared !! Over the three day show between 15,000 – 17,000 visitors come through the doors (most of those on Saturday – oh no !! Seriously, everything wedding wise is on show there and you can get so many ideas for your big day. I know that some of the couples who booked with me at the last show will be visiting again, and have said they will stop by to say hello – so I look forward to seeing you again.

Let Me Eat Cake – Please !!!

Mmmmm… was I in great company at the Swinfen Hall Open Day !!! I have seen his cake masterpieces on quite a few occasions, but I finally had chance to meet the man himself – Ben The Cake Man. His cakes are more like works of art than just cakes and what a great guy as well. As anyone who knows me will already be aware, I am a cake-a-holic !!! I had some gorgeous cupcake themed gifts for Christmas and they were my favourite gifts of all this year. The cake bites that Ben had available for sampling were soon devoured (No, not by me !).

Swinfen Hall Open Day

What a great day! Swinfen Hall in all it’s glory – set out just as it would be for a wedding - beautiful. I was lucky enough to be placed in the grand Ballroom, along with some wonderful suppliers – cakes, flowers, stationery etc. After exhibiting at some major wedding fayres – it was such a nice change to be in such a relaxed, refined setting. I met with some great couples and had such a good day. A big, big thank you to the couples who booked with me, and I’m really looking forward to meeting up again with those who have booked a consultation. It is certainly handy being right next door at the Heart of the Country Village, as everyone visiting the Open Day knew exactly where my studio was – so no directions needed! Fantastic Stationery by Angelic Creations

As regular visiters to my blog will know, last weekend I was exhibiting at the National Wedding Show at the NEC. There were some absolutely beautiful items on display there again this year, and none more so than the wedding stationery designed and handmade by Angela Atherton of Angelic Creations. Angie was my ‘neighbour’ for the duration of the show, and by the end of the three days, she had become a great new friend. NEC National Wedding Show

This was our third time exhibiting at the NEC, and we had another great show again this year. We had so many lovely comments about our stand and our stationery, and it is great to know that all our hard work is appreciated. Special thanks to the couples who booked with us over the weekend, and I really can’t wait to photograph your weddings at some exciting new venues next year. Thanks also to everyone who visited our stand over the three day show, and I am looking forward to meeting up with those of you who are coming into my studio for a consultation (away from the mayhem of the NEC !)

National Wedding Show - NEC

If you are thinking of going to the National Wedding Show at the NEC 10th-12th October, come along and see me at stand F11. Newstead Abbey, Dunchurch Park & Colwick Hall

I would just like to thank everyone who came and saw me on the 17th February at the Newstead Abbey Wedding Fayre in Nottinghamshire, at the Dunchurch Park Wedding Fayre on the 24th February in Warwickshire and at Colwick Hall on the 16th March.. It was three lovely days (except for the bitter cold weather) and i look forward to working with all the couples who have booked me for their wedding photography.
