Pre Wedding Madness

As many of you know I have been extremely busy up and down the country this week with baby shoots, Wedding Consultations and quite a few pre wedding shoots. This manic week started last Sunday with possibly one of my favourite shoots this year, Karen & Marks Pre wedding Shoot at Riber Hall in Derbyshire. It was definitely the weirdest weather conditions that I have ever had on a photo-shoot, we had brilliant sunshine but it was snowing quite heavy, it did make fantastic photos though, so I cant complain.

Mark & Sarah's Pre Wed Shoot

Mark & Sarah are one of my couples who are getting married in August this year. We took some time out last week and visited Croome Park with their two beautiful little girls Lauren & Chloe for their pre wedding shoot.

Karen & Daniel's Pre Wed Shoot

On Saturday I took a trip down to London to meet up with Karen & Daniel who are getting married at the fantastic Tower of London in September. We managed to get a few shots in the sunshine and have a walk around the Tower of London just before the rain came.

Anya & Quinley

I did a fantastic shoot with Anya who is 2 and a half and Quinley who is nearly 6 months old. We had a great time playing and I managed to get some great shots of the two of them.

New Studio - Now Open!

After a lot of hard work my new Studio at the Heart of the Country Village in Swinfen, Near Lichfield is now open. I officially opened the doors on Friday and it has been a very busy Easter weekend.
The Heart of the Country Village is beautiful. There are lots of little shops and restaurants here, even a Wedding Dress Shop and a Jewellers, so if you are getting married you can plan half of your wedding here at the centre.
The Studio is open Tuesday to Sunday 10am-5pm and Bank Holiday Mondays. Please pop in and have a look around if you are passing.

Ghafoor Family

Last week I did a lovely lifestyle shoot with the Ghafoor family at their home in Daventry. Daniel (age 14), Adeelah (Age 10) and Alisha (Age 5) were fantastic. Especially little Alisha who asked me whether she could have her photo taken by me everyday when she was rich and famous.

Charlotte & Lydia - My Fairy Princesses

You could never say that a photographers job is boring. Yesterday I travelled to Liverpool to do a Lifestyle shoot for Charlotte & Lydia. This turned out to be a really fun afternoon, covering everything from Karaoke, High School Musical to Fairy wands and tutus. I would like to thank both Charlotte & Lydia for a fantastic time and their the beautiful Easter cards that they made for me.

Spooks

Whilst in London I got the chance to photograph the Royal Masonic Trust for Girls & Boys new offices which are in Freemasons Hall in Great Queen Street. The architecture was amazing and apparently the new BBC 1 series of Spooks starts filming here next week.

Royal Masonic Trust

On Friday, I spent a lovely day in London working for the Royal Masonic Trust for Girls & Boys. I had two fantastic shoots with two teenagers who the trust had recently helped. Claire who is currently studying Dance and Matthew who is studying Medicine.

Newstead Abbey, Dunchurch Park & Colwick Hall

I would just like to thank everyone who came and saw me on the 17th February at the Newstead Abbey Wedding Fayre in Nottinghamshire, at the Dunchurch Park Wedding Fayre on the 24th February in Warwickshire and at Colwick Hall on the 16th March.. It was three lovely days (except for the bitter cold weather) and i look forward to working with all the couples who have booked me for their wedding photography.

Julie & Ian's Pre Wed Shoot

On Sunday I did a fantastic Pre Wedding shoot with Julie and Ian who are getting married in May this year. We braved the cold weekend weather and spent a lovely morning at New Hall Hotel in Warmley, Sutton Coldfield.

Recycle Fashion Challenge

On Thursday I did a slightly unusual shoot. My brief was to photograph a paper dress and I was a little stumped about exactly what to expect. It actually turn out to be a really fun shoot. My clients were two fashion students at Birmingham City University and they had designed a dress made out of newspaper for an assignment on recycling. The sun came out (Thank God it didn't rain) and I had a fantastic model Cathy to work with, she was a real pro and made my job a lot easier.

Chocolate Heaven

I have just finished a great commercial shoot working with Helen & Pierre from Chouchoute. Chouchoute Chocolaterie is a fantastic shop in The Great Western Arcarde in Birmingham, producing hand made French Chocolates. Their chocolates are absolutely out of this world, especially their Champagne Truffles. I have posted a few images from the shoot just to make your mouths water.
